My Studio Space
This is video of my studio space.
I have been work on a project for my show
at the Rag Factory for 7-11 October 2010.
This a group show of Artist from Winchester School of Art who got their the Degree in 2009. The show has came about from the money left over after the our degree show.
The money is being used for the Rag Factory Show, we only had to pay 20 pound each to be able show our work.
This is a big show that has come out of time when a lot of company were not giving any money with the downturn.
To over come this big shortfall our year did a car boot for 6 hours on a Sunday. We were given a lot of things to sell to help raise money. and we made over 1,100's pounds .
A big thank to the Winchester people who supported our Car Boot without your support we would be able to put the show on in London at the Rag Factory
As Artist I think we have done very well and we got the Rag Factory show out of it.
So if your around in London do come along and have a look at the artist work.
We have got the first Thursday in the month and we doing a Private view on the Friday,
This is a very result for the group of 35 artist

Drawing Meets Painting
We are putting a book together to show and want we are thinking and along with our comments.
As I find a lot of books are done by people who study art history. I think the viewer will enjoy reading what the artist are saying to each other and what are our thoughts are behind to the work.

Drawing Meets Painting with Deborah Hall (10M x 1.5)
Deborah and I have been working together on a project called: Drawing Meets Painting. We have a joint show in 2011 at : " The Willis Museum" in Basingstoke Hampshire (UK) Title: Space.
This work is very large! People who know me well know that I do not do small works. I like the idea of turning this drawing so it would hang on a wall and going around a whole room .
We have spent many months working on the drawing building it up in layers, I like using a fine wash although but Deborah likes to pour ink on to the paper. Deborah uses canvases that which can take a lot of water where as some paper cannot take that much. As we are using 200g "Fabriano" paper but I like to use 300g rough papers. We are using smooth it not quite right for me either, so we are working on a medium that isn't right for neither of us.
When we are work on the work we have no idea what the weather is doing outside even when it pouring down with rain.
